Tell us a little about yourself. I own and operate a sales company on a daily basis, amongst other things, but I have a true passion for writing fiction. Although I've been pretty successful in the real world there is nothing better than letting my imagination run wild and creating another world that readers can get lost in.
What was your motivation behind this project? I love a challenge and writing pushes me to my limit. Going through my third edit and not yet being satisfied makes me want to rip my hair out, but then again it's so rewarding when you have a finished product.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope readers will enjoy the love story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Sometimes in life there is a battle between our head and our heart, what we should do and want we want to do. It's interesting to read a character's struggles especially when it's something we can relate to.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Zeva was my first published book, so the accomplishment alone was extremely rewarding. Then, when I started reading reviews and realizing people really liked my work it became surreal. Especially when fans push you to finish your next book so they can see where the story is going.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I have read so many good books, it's hard to pinpoint a sole writer who has inspired me.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Being a new author, it can be difficult to establish a name in such a competitive industry. So, I want to say thank you to those who took a chance on an unknown author and read Zeva.
