Publisher's Description

Who knew fate could twist a tragedy into a second chance at love?

Samantha Winters lives her life the way a good accountant should—measured, deliberate, and safe. After watching her father die in a tragic skiing accident, she decided never to allow risk into her life again. But she didn’t count on falling for Nick Chastain, who embodies everything she doesn’t want in her safely constructed world.

Against Samantha’s warnings, Nick plans a dangerous kayaking trip over spring break. Furious that he’s so careless with his life, she ends their fledgling relationship with harsh words.

Two years later, Samantha is desperately in need of a change. When she learns her grandmother has had an accident and is in need of a caretaker, Samantha quickly packs her bags and heads to Thunder Creek, Idaho. But nothing could prepare her for the surprise awaiting her in her grandmother’s hospital room . . . Nick.

With the charming backdrop of small-town friends, beloved cousins, and a whole church congregation rooting for them, can they set aside the disastrous ending of their first try at love? Has Nick changed enough to meet Samantha in the middle—and can she realize that a risk in love might be worth taking?

You’re Gonna Love Me is a gentle romance that offers hope for second chances. Author Robin Lee Hatcher has a gift for welcoming readers into fictional close-knit communities fortified with love and trust. With each turn of the page, I relaxed into the quiet rhythm of Hatcher’s storytelling, where she deftly examines the heart’s desires of her characters set against the richly-detailed Idaho setting.– ~Beth K. Vogt, Christy Award-winning author

I didn't think You'll Think of Me could be beat. But Robin did it again with You're Gonna Love Me. YOURE GONNA LOVE ME by Robin Lee Hatcher.

Samantha wanted control in her work and in love. Seeing Nick being careless, for an adventure, she says hash words. Now two years later, see is returning to Thunder Creek, to help her Grand mother. Arriving at the hospital, who does she meet but Nick once again. This was a tender story, of two people who are older, and hopefully realize what they once shared. About forginess and second chances. Her stories are of family, and love a good combination for readers to sit back and enjoy. Given ARC by Thomas Nelson for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

I received a copy of this book from The Fiction Guild, I was not required to give a favorable review. Another wonderful story of love and God's help in everyday things from Robin. Nick and Sam knew each other in Oregon and broke up over her fears and his need for the exciting until the trip she feared the most caused him damage and he gave up in college teaching job and now is working in Thunder Creek and has found a greater understanding of faith. He ends up help rescue Sam's grandmother after she fell off her horse while riding with her great-granddaughter. Sam has come to help take care of her grandmother and is surprised to find Nick there. She didn't know about his injury and they have to find their way to being friends again and maybe more. This was a wonderfully written story. I would recommend it highly.

4 stars- Ever since her dad died in a tragic ski accident, Sam has been scared of taking risks and always plays it safe. Nick has an adventurous streak a mile wide. How will this relationship ever work? It doesnt. Fast forward two years when Sam comes to Idaho to help her grandmother and happens to run into Nick. Could things work this time?

This was a fun, light read that I enjoyed. The town of Thunder Creek, Idaho seems like a wonderful small town to live in, full of friendly people and a great place to visit for coffee and a pastry. Nick and Sam were both likable characters. I definitely found myself relating to Sam often throughout the story. It is often hard to take risks and dive into the unknown; playing it safe is so much easier. I liked seeing how God worked on her heart throughout the story. Nicks story was also intriguing. His journey from his breakup with Sam to their reunion 2 years later was heartbreaking. I felt very sympathetic towards Nick and the changes he had to make in his life.

This was a great story to help remind us that we need to trust God because He really does know what Hes doing. Our fears will always be there, but God is too. And He is bigger than those fears. I look forward to reading more by Robin. I received a copy of this book for free. I was not required to post a positive review and the views and opinions expressed are my own.

You're Gonna Love Me was my first book by Robin Lee Hatcher. I follow a blog that she co-writes on with several other authors, so I've been aware of some her latest releases, but never have had time to sit down and pick one up until recently.

I love the cover design on this book and how it ties together characters, outfits, and gifts all mentioned in the book right on the cover. Usually I feel as if the covers don't portray the characters correctly or have any element from the story in them, but this one did a nice job.

Anyway, onto the book. This was a sweet story following two characters who had dated before the start of the book but had a disagreement and broke it off. Due to a couple of accidents, the characters are back in the same town and strike up a cautious friendship.

I like the element of these two already knowing each other because there wasn't any awkwardly fast getting to know each other type of thing going on, as sometimes happens in romance novels. The small-town feel of the book was sweet and added to the story's overall charm. I would definitely recommend this light-hearted read with a good lesson on overcoming fear and learning to love again.

Thank you to the Thomas nelson and Zondervan Fiction Guild for providing me with a copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

There are times in our daily lives when we just want to get away from it all. Maybe we can't always leave town, or even our own house, but we can pick up a book that will transplant us to another place. Robin Lee Hatcher's You're Gonna Love Me is the perfect book for such traveling.

Ms. Hatcher's gift is creating places so real we believe we could drive into these places as we drive down the road. Next time I drive through Idaho, I will subconsciously be looking for the little town of Thunder Creek. I want to pull into the parking lot of Sips and Scentimentals, walk into the shop and order a coffee from Gran's friend, Camila. I enjoyed every moment of my time spent there in my mind.

Not only does Ms. Hatcher create marvelous places, she also creates real characters

"Nick waited a few heartbeats, but the woman on the ground didn't move." I knew he would help her and I wanted to know more about his why. I wanted to know more about what he was doing in Thunder Creek. This was the third paragraph.

"She was bone weary after the seven-hour drive from Beaverton, Oregon. She'd stopped only twice, just long enough to refill the tank and use the restroom, and hadn't bothered to eat anything except the snack foods she'd tossed into the car before leaving home before dawn." I related to Samantha immediately. I've had many road trips like this. I wanted to know more about Samantha; why did she make this road trip? What was her motivation? I wanted to know more about her relationships.

I think the greatest thing about Robin Lee Hatcher's books, and especially You're Gonna Love Me, is that I do not always like the characters or what they do, but I always care. Samantha holds on to fear and it is irritating, but I do that too. That is why I don't always like Samantha, but I always care and turn the page to see what will happen next.

You're Gonna Love Me is a beautiful story. Travel to the wonderful little town of Thunder Creek, Idaho with Robin Lee Hatcher. Immerse yourself in Nick and Samantha's story. Enjoy your time away from your daily life. You will not regret it.

I received a copy of this book from The Fiction Guild.
