MaryJane Pierce Norton is first and foremost a parent of a confirmand and a leader of Claim the Name confirmation studies. MaryJane is the author of numerous books and teaching resources, including Pocketsful of Scripture, and Teaching Young Children. She is also nationally known as a workshop leader and consultant in The United Methodist Church and is an ordained deacon in the Western North Carolina Conference. She and her husband have three children and live in Nashville, Tennessee.
