Many of her friends had fully entered puberty and she was curious about what was going on with them, and what she should expect. I was able to talk with her, and then I gave her this book. I had read the book before giving it to her and I loved how light-hearted, and yet how truthful and factual it was. It made the changes that come with growing up seem not so scary! I told her many of her questions would be answered as she read through the book, but it might raise a few more for her. She knows she can always come to me with her questions, so I expect it will start a lot of conversations. I highly recommend it for any parent/grandparent who wants to help their young girl understand what is going on in puberty!
