Author Bio

Tony Dungy and his wife Lauren Dungy are active members of a number of family, faith, and community-based organizations, including All Pro Dad, iMom, Fellowship of Chrstian Athletes, Mentors for Life, Family First, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and the Boys and Girls Club of America. Tony is a former NFL player and retired head coach of the 2006 Superbowl Champions, the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. Amy June Bates has illustrated many books for children, including That’s What I’d Do and Sweet Dreams by Jewel, Waiting for the Magic by Patricia McLachlan, Hillary Rodham Clinton: Dreams Taking Flight by Kathleen Krull, The Dog Who Belonged to No One by Amy Hest, and You Can Do It! by Tony Dungy. She graduated from Brigham Young University and now lives in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, with her husband and three children. Illustrating books has always been her dream.

    This review was written for You Can Do It!.
    A wonderful tool for discussing the subject of God's guidance with one or a group of children. The author's name will get the attention of sports-minded boys. (I think 8 and 9 year olds will like this s well).The format of the book and the illustrations have great appeal. I am a librarian of a community library specializing in high moral values. We will place this book where it will catch the attention of children's workers and parents of home-schooled children.This book is worth the attention of parents, teachers, and kids!

    "you can do it" is Tony Dungy's newest book and he writes about his early childhood and how his parents helped to shape the dreams and faith of he and his sister. this special bestseller shows how Tony's parents gave them the early self confidence to seek the gifts and talents that God had in mind for them.I think this is for adults and children. It will help adults to give courage for kids to find what God has blessed them with and it will help children strengthen their dreams and forget about their low esteem. great gift idea for friends family and church friends.
