We have many, many devo books and most of them are from "One Year" (Boys, Girls, Preschoolers, Mother/Daughter,Kids, Toddlers). We have 5 children and have been reading Devo books for over 15 years with them. I thought this one would be good for Teens and be in "teen speak" so the stories would be easy to understand in modern day language and settings. We were reading the selection for September and were NOT ok to discover that the modern day twist on the Bible story was just WRONG. I'm all for making it fit circumstances we understand but don't change the basic premise of the true Bible story! The facts should still be the facts. The stories in the book of Joshua were altered and we didn't care for it. We have many of this company's Devo Books but will be throwing this one out.
If you are a teen who believes in God but isn't as close as they'd like to be this is a wonderful devotional to help your relationship grow closer with God:) I love it so much:) and I feel like I've grown as a person as well as my walk with God!
I have only been doing the devotionals for about a month now but they are excellent! It really takes you on a journey to better your relationship with God and check yourself to see if you are giving 100% percent of your heart, mind, and soul to God. I am loving it!!!
