Writing Strands Beginning 1

Writing Strands: Beginning 1 is part of the newly-revised Writing Strands series; this volume combines Reading Strands with Writing Strands Level 2 from the first edition of this curriculum. It's perfect for students who are at a basic writing level and are able to write simple sentences such as "The dog is big." This comprehensive approach will help students begin to develop a solid foundation in communication as they develop their creative writing skills alongside grammar, sentence construction, logical sequencing, and structure while also developing reading, writing, and speaking skills.

This convenient all-in-one worktext features 180 days of instruction and variety of student activities and exercises. Each week alternates between writing lessons and reading lessons; for their reading, students will read biblical passages as well as books chosen and assigned by the parent. A weekly lesson schedule is also included.
