Your artistically inclined students will love the opportunity to make their history lessons come alive! Volumes cover the time of creation to the 20th century, so you have plenty of period options to choose from. Each lesson features a prominent event, step-by-step drawing instruction, and a summary paragraph to be copied for cursive handwriting practice. Scattered throughout the book are tidbits about each drawing.
A great supplement to any history program, especially for students who love to draw! Ages 8 to 12, but adaptable for younger children. 64 pages each, softcovers from CPR Publishing. -- Rebekah

She says, "It's so fun!" This book allows my daughter to learn or reinforce what she has learned in history and it gives her an excellent outlet for her "creative genius". Definitely a must have in any homeschoolers library.
Serene Lim5 Stars Out Of 5Great Book!April 16, 2012Serene LimQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Our family loves the Draw Write Now books so when I saw that they have a series with History thrown in I immediately bought the entire series. It has not disappointed me. Love the series as it allows my children to learn to draw on their own (we are homeschoolers) at a very affordable cost!
CatawbaMom3 Stars Out Of 5Good, but . . .December 30, 2011CatawbaMomI like this series of books generally, but have spotted a factual error in the sample "slide" of the Middle Ages copywork. The feudal system did not originate with William the Conqueror, who in any event lived in the 11th century, not the 800s. That's a pretty egregious error, and I would not want my child copying a basic historical mistake.
Nice series, but I hope these things get fact-checked before printing.
