christine5 Stars Out Of 5Terrific!!October 4, 2014christineQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Our 7 yr old loves this book! He loves to try different animals, then it gives a little copy the sentences down section, where he reads it, then writes it. It's a full lesson, he loves it! I'm excited to get the other ones for my other kids! It's just right, it's not too easy, it's not too hard, but lets them learn how to draw these animals. He feels accomplished because he's drawing animals that he's excited to show us! Great purchase!
TRW12Age: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5This book was exactly what we were looking forJuly 20, 2012TRW12Age: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My 4.5 year old daughter Loves to draw. This book was recommended to me so I thought I would give it a try as a way to help her develop her skills.
This book definitely met my expectations and more, it is fantastic! My daughter was so proud of herself after drawing the duck and pig. I already see her other drawings improving.
I like that the book requires that the artist follow each step in order to have a complete picture, good lesson in following (sequence) direction and patience.
Once we conquer this book we will definitely buy the next.

I got it because my daughter does not like to practice handwriting but loves to draw. So far this has worked! I am so impressed with her copy work- she does it just like the book! And she has fun learning how to draw new things as well!
Elizabeth Thomas5 Stars Out Of 5May 28, 2010Elizabeth ThomasMy Son is LOVING this book. He loves to draw and he loves strict direction for his art projects. This is the perfect book for him. Jamie Segrist4 Stars Out Of 5September 23, 2009Jamie SegristMy son is 9 and we are homeschooling now. He didn't think that he could draw but now every time after he does another picture from this book his confidence is boosted. He was not confident at all in his drawing before and with this one he is able to do something quickly that looks like its supposed to and then move to more detailed pictures later. It made him at least WANT to try to draw harder things instead of just saying he can't draw. WE love it!!!
