Inspiring Story of How Brokenness Leads to Bold Faith

Jesus promises peace and trouble for his followers. But most of us accept the peace and are confused and angry when adversity comes our way.

All-American soccer star Mo Isom knows the struggle firsthand. While her life seemed like a success, she was battling an eating disorder, the suicide of her father, and a horrific car accident. It wasn't until God wrecked her life that she discovered the glory of renewal through Jesus Christ and that wreckage can be sacred rather than scarring. Readers take the journey from broken to bold with her and learn to surrender their lives to the King who was wrecked on their behalf.

Yes. Jesus promised us tribulation in this life. Too many books don't mention this. Jesus himself learned through suffering. See Hebrews 5:8.

It's okay for God to "wreck my life" just like a builder would do in order to recreate a stronger building!

This book is honest, real, and awesome!

This book. Where do I begin? I've followed Mo since her big goal at LSU. I read this book within a day and felt so many emotions. I cried. I laughed. I held my breath. And I smiled from ear to ear. This raw journey Mo takes us on shows just how powerful and mighty our merciful God is!! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a motivational, sports related, religious or even just a good book to read. I've past this book on and it's now making its way to Amsterdam.

Wreck My Life is worth the money not only for a book to read but possibly a way to help show someone about the beauty of our Lord and Savior. ❤️

Mo's story is a beautiful representation of how every single bit of your brokenness can be redeemed by the love of God! God met Mo in the broken places of life and wrecked her life for His glory! If you love redemption stories and testimonies of God's providence, grace, and mercy, this book is for you! Mo's candor and heart are breathtakingly beautiful and transparent. She will captivate you with her storytelling, and you'll find yourself nodding your head and saying "Me, too!!!" There's so much knowledge, wisdom, and practical application found within these pages! I basically highlighted most of the book!

I'd also like to assuage the fears of anyone who stumbles upon this book and is scared they won't like it because it's a sports memoir. I'm the furthest thing from a "sports girl," but I LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down! Even if you aren't into sports, you will fall in love with Mo's story! It's not your typical sports memoir! It's a spiritual memoir from a girl who just so happens to be a beast on the field! Order it NOW! You won't regret it!!!

Mo's book tells her story of her journey from being broken down in more ways than one and then propelling into bold living for Christ. Her story becomes your story. Your circumstances may not be exactly what she experienced, but through every adversity Mo tackles, you can insert your own obstacle. Through all of the brokenness and adversity, Mo continuously points to the cross every step of the way. Both during these trials and throughout this book. She reminds us that sometimes God reveals the most beauty and purpose through the wreckage and sometimes He just needs to "wreck us for His glory."

I loved this book! It was less about sports and more about Mo's testimony of God's working in her life through an eating disorder, a parents suicide, and being a college athlete.

Mo's genuine faith shines through her words and encouragement to others. I would recommend and share this with all ladies but especially late high school/ college girls dealing with making their faith their own.
