As I started reading this book; I found myself caught up in several of the very same situations mentioned. This book is not only helpful to those in ministry, but anyone who is in leadership or getting ready for a leadership role. There is an expectation that because one is in leadership; they know how to lead and this is not true, as many factors come about, such as superiority, control, jealousy, fear, just to name a few. This book will help you to overcome some of these factors that you may have experienced in the past by those in authority. And it should help you not to make the same mistakes that you experienced.

Do you see yourself as a victim? This book helps you if you have that "Victim" mentality. There are times when we feel that we have been wronged and we turn and run away without ever facing the giant. I think the most important part after defining the problems afforded by leadership and the affects thereof, is to face the giant head on. We see David's help in explaining scriptural attributes and their importance such as forgiveness, grace, prayer, to name a few. All in all this is a well written, easy to read and understand book and one that should be read by leaders and those expecting a leadership role. And if you have experienced being wounded; it will definitely help you to bring a healing to your wounds.

The book is written in two parts with one of the best presentations on "What Jesus did for you and how to be saved." I believe that this book is one you may refer to at times to help others. I highly recommend Wounded by Leadership, I will keep a copy in my library.

I am almost done reading 'Wounded by Leadership'. The Victim mentality chapter was esp good - spoke to me. I had to repent because I know there have been many times in the past I have fallen into that way of thinking. 'Wounded by Leadership' is easy to read, but there is plenty of insight to ponder over.

Daniel has a well of knowledge and wisdom to share with the Body of Christ - he's sure to be a leader for this next generation. Its clear that his passion is to promote unity in the Body.
