Steve1 Stars Out Of 5Take a pass on this.July 22, 2020SteveQuality: 2Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1This book may be well-intentioned but the delivery is flawed. The author's model is very much demeaning and shaming to men. Men who struggle in this area already carry significant shame and are often trapped in a shame cycle that drives immoral behavior. The emphasis on men doing 90 percent of the work and the wives doing 10 percent of the work is misguided and so broad it lacks relevance to almost any situation. Lastly, the author's views around the qualifications for sex within marriage are not biblical nor are they in any alignment with contemporary Christian authors on the subject. Take a pass on this one.
JAW3 Stars Out Of 5Could be betterAugust 2, 2018JAWQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I think overall it is a good book. However, I feel as though the author is catering to his wife throughout the book. Every relationship is different. There are pains on both sides of the relationship. If you were the only one that commited adultry, then this might suit your needs. It is incredibly demanding, and demeaning to men as a whole.
