Product Description

Far from fading with time, Kenneth Grahame's classic tale of fantasy has attracted a growing audience in each generation. Rat, Mole, Badger, and the preposterous Mr. Toad (with his 'Poop-poop-poop' road-hogging new motor car), have brought delight to many through the years with their odd adventures on and by the river, and at the imposing residence of Toad hall.

The language contained within this novel is becoming dated for children, but that is all the more reason to introduce it to your children as soon as their attention spans can handle it. There were chapters when my 5 yo was a tad disinterested, but there were also places where both my 5 and 7 yo were on the edge of their seats and laughing with hysteria.
