"Is my baby in heaven?"
This is the most important question a grieving parent can ask. And even if the little one is someone else's child, the issue remains: What happens to children?those unborn, stillborn, or youngsters?when they die? Can you hope to see them again? Can you let go of your fear and guilt? Can God's love soothe a wound so jagged?
With scriptural authority and the warmth of a pastor's heart, bestselling author John MacArthur examines the breadth of the entire Bible and reveals in this compelling book the Heavenly Father's care for every life.
"I have sat by the grave of our daughter and son and wondered out loud if my belief that Hope and Gabriel are in heaven has any solid scriptural support. John MacArthur offers truth from God's Word that puts the doubts of any grieving parent to rest. Safe in the Arms of God reveals that confidence of heaven for the child you love is based on much more than mere sentimentality; it is revealed in the Word of God and reflective of the very heart of God." ?Nancy Guthrie, author of Holding On to Hope
John MacArthur has served as the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, since 1969. His ministry of expository preaching is unparalleled in its breadth and influence. In more than four decades of ministry from the same pulpit, he has preached verse by verse through the entire New Testament (and several key sections of the Old Testament). He is president of the Masters University and Seminary and can be heard daily on the Grace to You radio broadcast (carried on hundreds of radio stations worldwide). He has authored a number of bestselling books, including Twelve Ordinary Men, and One Perfect Life.

I truly preferred 'I'll hold you in heaven' as it gave woman to woman hope and insight that this book did not touch on. Sometimes only another momma and woman can understand the pain and heart ache of losin a little one. Although the pastor that wrote this is a great man, I cannot enforce this book as a great tool for mothers to get through their grief with.
Sarah5 Stars Out Of 5July 26, 2010SarahI have suffered 4 miscarriages and no other book has come close to giving such biblical comfort as this book. John takes you through scriptures, gives you real answers over the loss of your child and what the Bible says. It has been a tremendous encouragement to me and I would recommend it highly.
Betty5 Stars Out Of 5March 6, 2010BettyThis book was given to me after I lost my 3rd child in utero. While at times I found it difficult to read, due to my own emotional struggles, I found it to be the tool in which God used to give me peace in my child's passing. I would recommend this book to anyone experiencing the grief of losing a child, and to those who may be comforting someone who is dealing with this issue.
Margaret P Tait5 Stars Out Of 5December 4, 2009Margaret P TaitEver since I heard John MacArthur give a two part teaching on this subject, I felt like I should get the book to have on hand when someone I know needed the comfort this book can give. This book goes beyong the usual comforting thoughts to deal with deep questions that may trouble parents whose child dies. John MacArthur's strong conviction that the child goes to heaven based on solid theology would be very reassuring to Christian parents.
