My son likes the cover for his new Bible. What I was especially impressed with was the fact that Christianbook.com provided a selection of sizes for the various print sized Bibles. That was something I'd never thought about previously because the last Bible covers I bought were from a discount store and a one size fits all sort of selection. This seems to have a sturdy enough zipper and my son liked the color, texture, and contemporary style of it. The largest size cover fits his extra large print Bible, which is wider than your average print Bibles. I was really glad this was available because I found, over the years, Bibles last much longer with a good cover than without and a handy handle to carry it with is a great bonus.
I'd advise anyone investing in a good Bible to also pay the few extra bucks to get a good cover. Some Bibles seem irreplaceable. I have my first NKJV Bible a friend gave me as a gift in the 1980s that is better quality than those of today. So after the cover wore out I kept it hoping I can re-bind it with a new leather cover later. The point I'm making is, if you're new to this whole Bible thing, get a good cover, it is worth it to make the Bible last.
