Product Description

Five years after writing Deceived on Purpose: The New Age Implications of the Purpose-Driven Church, former New Age follower Warren B. Smith continues to reveal how Rick Warren and other Christian leaders-wittingly or unwittingly-are leading the church into a spiritual trap.

A "Wonderful" Deception examines church metaphors, concepts, and beliefs that are essentially the same as those being used in today's New Age teachings. And while biblical prophecy is being minimized and explained away, the "New Science" is being used to prepare the world-and the church-to accept a new spirituality and a false New Age Christ.

This book explains how all the puzzle pieces are in place for the "strong delusion" described in 2 Thessalonians. A "Wonderful" Deception pierces right into the heart of this deception while preparing believers in Jesus Christ to effectively stand against it.

Editorial Reviews

This book is [Warren Smith's] magnum opus! A fantastic work ... [T]his volume is the most extensive critique of Purpose Driven teachings and emergent teaching that I have ever seen ... a wealth of information, lots of footnotes, lots of quotations ... showing where the apostasy is and how it has been so pervasive through the church today ... I am so moved by reading A "Wonderful" Deception. --Larry Spargimino, Southwest Radio Church Ministries

This is an excellent book, well researched and, what I would call (from my college days) reliable, respectable and verifiable scholarship. The premise is undeniable--the "church growth" movement has deep roots in the occult and it is not about to decrease in any way. As the film version of "The Shack" is about to be released (as well as a multi-part teaching series based on the book will air on TBN), we must expect that "quantum spirituality" and all of its occult theories and practices will ever more fully infiltrate all churches. Read Smith's book to prepare yourself and protect yourself against the deceptions that will surely increase.

Rick warren's " Purpose driven life " has been a book that had disturbed me right from the start.

I was not able to participate in the bible study of this book ( even though i am a avid reader) because the Holy Spirit would not permit me . When our church decided to do the " What on earth am i here for " i questioned why

we as a church were NOT questioning Rick Warren 's partnership with Oprah in regards to this book. Oprah who has said on many occasion that Christ is not the only way to heaven. A wonderful deception is detailed in its explaination of how Anti - Christ Warren's books are. You cannot remain ignorant once you read A Wonderful Deception.
