General Editor: Dorothy Kelley Patterson is professor of Theology in Women’s Studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She is a homemaker, popular speaker, and successful writer, editor, and compiler of numerous books and coeditor of the Old Testament and New Testament volumes of the Women’s Evangelical Commentary. Her husband Paige is president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Managing Editor: Rhonda Harrington Kelley is the president’s wife and adjunct professor of Women’s Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a frequent speaker for women as well as the author of numerous books and coeditor of the Old Testament and New Testament volumes of the Women’s Evangelical Commentary. Her husband Chuck is president of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

A Beautiful and Indepth Bible

This review was written for NKJV Study Bible for Women, Willow Green and Wildflower LeatherTouch.

I received my Bible today and I am overjoyed with it! It's beautiful and indepth at the same time. The study notes are very detailed and full of additional verses to give you a better understanding of the note itself. There are character sketches of women in the Bible, Word Studies and articles significant and important for women today. The Bible itself is well structured. The leather is soft and supple. I had the Bible engraved with my name and life verse. CBD did an EXCELLENT job on the engraving. Its engraved with a rich purple ink. They you CBD for supplying such a beautiful product and thank you for shipping it to me so quickly.

This bible is simply beautiful and chocked full of helpful information to help you understand the word better. It breaks down the scriptures, has summaries for each book of the bible and defines measurements etc in todays terms. This is truly a wonderful woman's study bible and crafted extremely well. I highly recommend it.

This review was written for The Study Bible for Women, NKJV Edition, Plum and Lilac Leathertouch.

This Bible is simply gorgeous and with its rich purple colour, it lends to the feeling of having something that belongs to a King! This Bible was designed for women and has a very feminine fragrance with its flowery cover and random silver printed florals strewn within the pages. Indeed this Study Bible for Women teaches the Word of God in a majestic way. The author Dorothy Kelley Patterson's exegesis or interpretation of the text and notes speak largely to the basic principles of what 'good exegesis' is: Grammatical, Literal, Historical, Synthesis and Practical. In other words, it leads the reader to yearn for a deeper understanding of The Word and encourages a personal relationship with Jesus. I have several Bibles which I use many versions depending on what I am studying or teaching. I have a favourite that I have used as my "teaching Bible" and I gave to my son when I left for Israel. I hadn't found another to replace that one until now with this one. Truly, it is impressively beautiful and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
