Lori Fisher5 Stars Out Of 5July 15, 2006Lori FisherA wonderful, well-written book that helps the healing begin. Thank you, Rose Sweet, for this labor of love. If you are a woman who has been through a divorce, this book can help you keep going.
Cora Reynolds5 Stars Out Of 5April 24, 2003Cora ReynoldsRecently divorced again (5 yrs, 20 yrs & 10 yrs), I purchased this book on line & read it 2 times already. Just ordered another copy for a co-worker (she's recently divorced too)I can't part with my copy. I felt as if I have written this book or it was written about me. Thank you Rose Sweet, between you and my Father, who I know truly loves me like no other, I will get through this and not repeat the same mistakes. I am now at peace. Wish the churches in my area would start a DivorceCare group here. I'd be the first to sign up. This book is a 10+ and I highly recommend it above all other books on the subject.

Tell us a little about yourself. I love to bring practical, honest, REAL answers to women who aren't afraid to hear the truth. Why? Because that's what I want for myself. It might hurt, I might cry, but I'll laugh, too, and rejoice when I can move past the pain.
What was your motivation behind this project? Like the wild west scout who rides ahead and gets ripped up, lost and shot at, I finally found the way. I have a burning desire to gallop back to the rest of the travellers who are facing (or going through) divorce, and help them on their journey.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Maturity. Grace. Wisdom. Peace, and lots of bubbling-up-from-the-soul, laughter-on-the-lips joy!
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Older women who lovingly stopped to reach back and pull me along the same path. Sisters who taught me. Popular author Florence Littauer has been my geatest encourager.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I believe we can move past the pain and be healed emotionally. I know, because I'm proof, that "real women" can suffer and grow through divorce and still love, honor and respect men. He made us for that!
