Deanna WiseburnRandleman, NCAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Amazing Book for Seeing Women Set FreeAugust 16, 2016Deanna WiseburnRandleman, NCAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is so good and many will be set free! I'm going to really have to read it a few times to let all the truths sink in because I still struggle to see my worth and reading a book one time just isn't going to do it. But the Holy Spirit is shining a light and I know eventually the message will take root. So thankful that Lisa took the time and energy to write this book I know many will be helped!
After finishing the book the Lord revealed to me during my quiet time that I am still ashamed of who He created me to be. I am now open to the Lord's correction as I seek to move forward into the person that God created me to be.

It is a must read.

Books4JesusBrookfield, WIAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5RefreshingNovember 9, 2016Books4JesusBrookfield, WIAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This is the first book I have read by Lisa, and I loved it. I am putting the rest of her books on my reading list.
Lisas premise is that because we are daughters of an unrivaled God, we have identity without rival, live with a promise without rival, and we are without rival. We as women find it easy to compare, easy to look at the outside and judge without knowing the beauty of the woman or the depth of her suffering.
Lisa expounds on the theme that we are to love others, even when they disappoint us. Because people always disappoint. She states Disappointment is fostered when expectations are not met. Love believes the best, which differs vastly from demands the best. When you expect the best and they do less, you are disappointed. When you believe the best and they do less, then you understand their story is not yet over. A new way of viewing others and having grace for myself.
I really enjoyed her chapter on the difference on being a deep well that refreshes, and a wishing well, a well of empty wishes. The entire book was a refreshing read.
