This book, Winter Snow Fun is part of a series called Tales of Buttercup Grove.
Skunk and Raccoon wake up to find the thing they have been waiting for, the first snowfall of the season. They invite all of their winter friends for a fun play time. Then the snow begins to melt. Does this mean the end to the amazing play time? All of the friends learn that fun times don't have to end just because plans change.
This was such a cute book. The illustrations and the story are sure to catch the attention of children. Showing children that they do not need to feel disappointment just because plans change, they can still play with their friends.
I loved this book and recommend it for children, parents, grandparents or any adult to share with a child. -

We love the short chapters and whimsical illustrations. The size of the hard cover book is perfect for little hands. The encouragement to not let unmet expectations or missed plans ruin a day is a great lesson for all of us to read over and over. This book inspires creativity and reminds us that it's important to have friends to embark on adventures with.

HBergman5 Stars Out Of 5A delightful book to get your reader excited about winter!September 20, 2018HBergmanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Another sweet story in the "Tales of Buttercup Grove" series. This one got my kids so excited about winter time and the story line intertwines patience, working together, and problem solving when things don't go as planned. We're loving the pattern of having the book end with a Bible verse, and my heart melts when I hear my 8 year old reading it to his 6 year old sister at bedtime. These books are the kinds of stories that have a permanent place on my shelf, and more purpose than just another beginning reader.

NKT5 Stars Out Of 5Sweet Book With a Surprise EndingSeptember 11, 2018NKTQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I preordered Winter Snow Fun as soon as I learned that Wendy Dunham and Michal Sparks teamed together once again for another Tales Of Buttercup Grove book for young readers. My now seven-year-old daughter and I discovered this series last winter when I was part of a launch team for A Windy Spring Day and Sunflower Summer. Winter Snow Fun is perfect for the child in kindergarten through third grade. My daughter is a late bloomer as far as reading goes, but she is able to attempt many of the words on her own. She mostly loves me to read the story to her. We both love the charming illustrations and the simple message of friendship and faith. We found the surprise ending absolutely delightful. I highly recommend this book.
