Excellent book! The author teaches you how to use scripture to defeat the lies we tell ourselves.

This book was SO good! It took me a while to get through it. I found myself going backward to re-look at parts of the book. Then I started making notes on parts of it. I ended up reviewing the entire book and took notes on the whole thing.

His writing is very enjoyable and he has a great sense of humor. I really enjoyed his real-life examples that bring home the ideas he is teaching. And I appreciate his openness to share the struggles he has had in his thought life, both as an example and as encouragement for his readers.

His suggestions are not a quick fix. They require digging into scripture and spending time saturating your mind in the Word of God. I highly recommend this one!

I am impressed with Craig as a writer. As a retired teacher of mathematics, I do not believe in some of the props like the shoe box. However, the points he makes throughout the book and his insight are invaluable. When you get to the points he makes (without the props in my case) I believe there are many important ways covered to change your thinking. Well worth reading. I have also read Hope in the Dark by Craig and found that book to be extremely helpful to me.

Craig Groeschel hits a home run with this book. He gives so many examples from his own life and struggles while giving practical, biblical and clinical answers to winning the war in your mind. When what we think on, focus on most, lines up with what God thinks, our lives change. I bought this for a friend who is struggling after buying and reading my own copy! Any one who is struggling with the enemy invading our thoughts - which is all of us at some point - need to have and implement the tools in this book.
