Tami Osborn3 Stars Out Of 5December 28, 2008Tami OsbornAn interesting book with good characters and a readable plot. The best thing about this book is that it connects to the first book in the series.

Stephanie5 Stars Out Of 5November 22, 2007StephanieLovely work, Lori--a beautiful follow-up! I loved the character of Smokey, envied her grit and guts, and could even relate to her on a personal level because we started to really get to know God when we were both about nine. The scenes with Haamich Wynn were heart-stopping, and the fencing match with Brandon--the courage she showed despite physical weakness-- made me want to shout, YOU GO, GIRL! I would have, too, except I was at school when I read it--wouldn't have gone over well. :) A+, Lori!
