shereadswherevershegoesAtlanta, GAAge: Under 18Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5So good!September 29, 2023shereadswherevershegoesAtlanta, GAAge: Under 18Gender: FemaleThis review was written for Wildflower Falls.Awww yay, this story made me so happy! This is the fourth in Hunter's Riverbend Romance series, and I so enjoyed revisiting the Southern-USA town (especially now that I live down South! Aah!).
Being fourth, it does build a bit on those before it, and I recommend reading them in order. But you'll love them all--I sure did!
I especially loved the horse element in _Wildflower Falls_ (and, okay, the food; I didn't remember it being so prevalent in previous books, but MAN! It made me hungry!). My family can attest that I was "mildly" :D horse-obsessed growing up, and this just brought back all those memories! I'd be standing in line tryna get a pony ride now, too, if I could!
The characters, as ever with Hunter, are compelling and inspiring (and flawed, of course; all too relatable!). The plot really has a depth here I felt Hunter handled particularly well. It really got me thinking what I would have done in Charlotte's shoes; probably exactly what she did! And who wouldn't want to be part of the Robinson family (and, okay, live in Riverbend Gap)? Yes, please. :)
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. -
Reenie5 Stars Out Of 5loved it!August 8, 2023ReenieQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Wildflower Falls. This book had a great beginning. It had me laughing right away with the awkwardness of it. There were also moments that made me cry. I loved the range of emotions.
I loved seeing the Robinson clan again and learning more about their family's beginnings. I appreciated how Jeff laid two cents down on a table when he wanted to give advice to his kids and how it was up to them to pick them up if they wanted to hear it. I love books with strong, realistic families.
It was fun seeing all of Charlotte's plans coming together to try to make her horse ranch profitable. I've always loved horses so seeing Gunner making progress with some horses and how he did it was really fascinating to me.
Thank you to Thomas Nelson for providing me with a free e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

LisaK5 Stars Out Of 5Heroine with a Heart of GoldJuly 25, 2023LisaKQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Wildflower Falls.I've enjoyed the Riverbend Gap series and was really happy that Hunter added a fourth novel. I liked the heroine, Charlotte Simpson, so much. She was such a good person who had a ton of love in her heart. The hero, Gunner Dawson, was an interesting character who kept his heart guarded. I liked him but he was harder to warm up to. He was marked by tragedy, and seeing his heart change was one of the nicest parts of the story. And, as a bonus, I was able to catch up with the Robinson clan. There is a fantastic redemption thread that offers a nice conclusion to the series. Hunter delivers again with Wildflower Falls. I received an advance reader copy for review from Thomas Nelson through Netgalley. But as with all Denise Hunter books, I've ordered the paperback to add to my collection.

MaureenTSyracuse NYGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Back With The RobinsonsJune 29, 2023MaureenTSyracuse NYGender: femaleThis review was written for Wildflower Falls.I was so excited to see a new book in this series, all so good you never wanted them to end, and then there is this one! Now this can be read alone, but you will want to read how the other siblings got together!
This is Charlotte Simpson's story, reeling from the loss of her Mom, and finding some surprising information, something she had asked about but never received any answers.
Charlotte is trying to keep the generational Horse Ranch afloat, she found her Mom had taken a second loan, and has hired a new trainer, Gunner Dawson, he has told her he can only stay a few months, but she has gotten raving reviews about him.
There is an instant attraction between these two, but she has been hurt and he has past losses that make him flee from caring!
I loved being reunited with this family, and the updates, but this is a twist on siblings and it was such a great read! You will be page turning for answers!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Thomas Nelson, and was not required to give a positive review. -
Britt98Grand Prairie, TXAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great Wrap Up to the Series!October 1, 2024Britt98Grand Prairie, TXAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Wildflower Falls.I don't know what kept me from reading this book and finishing up the series before now. I've enjoyed all four of the novels in this series so much! Wildflower Falls was a great wrap up and was packed with wonderful emotion and two main characters who had some painful things in their pasts that were affecting their future. Even though there were problems to work through and emotional situations that weighed on them, the author was able to infuse the story with hope and romance throughout. I listened to the audio book and enjoyed it.
