Where should Christians go to heal the deep hurts in their hearts?
Today’s search for inner fulfillment has exploded into the Recovery movement, complete with twelve-step seminars, counseling programs, and self-help books. Thousands are looking to Christian psychology to help them attain victory over modern dysfunctions.
Does that mean the Bible alone is no longer adequate for the problems faced by Christians today?

With deep insight and candor, pastoral counselor Ed Bulkley presents the opposing sides of this issueand offers trustworthy, biblical answers for those who long to break away from pain and guilt and know true freedom genuine inner peace and a fresh beginning.

Reg Chute5 Stars Out Of 5April 30, 2009Reg ChuteIf you've ever wondered what psychology is all about and why Christians should steer clear of it, then this is the book for you. Ed Bulkley has done an excellent job of explaining psychology in layman's terms and then redirecting the reader to the true source of life, the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ!
Derek5 Stars Out Of 5May 13, 2008DerekOur church is going to touch this topic 1 time per year, just because it so persuades the church... Excellent book, quotes, resources, and of COURSE contextual scripture!
stanford Muyila5 Stars Out Of 5January 29, 2007stanford MuyilaI totally agree with Dr. Bulkley. His book gives solid biblical reasons why one has to rely on the Bible as source of wisdom and guidance. As I was going through it I almost cried seeing how the mass can be cheated by Satan. I would like to believe that those who see confusion in his writing are rather confused themselves, the message is so clear, biblically true and very practical. Let those who believe a person's interpretation of the WORD because he has great academic crediantials.
Larry Gerber5 Stars Out Of 5November 28, 2001Larry GerberI was very impressed with the book and how it simply uses God and His powerful Word to deal with the problems of today's world. I have recommended it to several valued friends for their opinions, and they agree with the author's concept. Definitely worth reading and applying.
