sgreene015 Stars Out Of 5Book 3 of Series - Great!February 6, 2018sgreene01Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This has been a most interesting series written by the author about a Colorado settlement of Amish. The characters from the previous books are also in this one, so you feel like you are meeting up with old friends. The Bishop, Henry Lapp, is a very devoted man who has a real heart for his people. He also has a special talent that resulted from a head injury he received as a child. He is able to recreate scenes of happenings that he consciously doesn't remember, but once starts drawing, his mind takes over and "remembers" and creates those scenes with extreme detail. He has always felt this was a curse, but has found that it has been most helpful in tracking down murderers of people in the previous books. In this book, he doesn't actually "see" the murder happen, but is in the vicinity at a rodeo. An Amish cowboy riding in the rodeo is killed and no one has seen it happen. A shot came from within the stadium, but no one has any idea who killed the rider.
As Henry, Emma, his fiance, and others work with the Sheriff to try to catch the killer, he wonders if maybe he did actually "see" something and decides to try drawing again. This time, however, after many pages of drawings, there are still no clues.
This book is filled with suspense as someone continues to target the Amish community. It is decided that the person know of the Bishop's ability and is trying to stop him, not realizing that this time, it's not what he "sees", but "who he knows" and may know who is the murderer.
I have enjoyed reading this series so much and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to read Amish and mystery genres.
I received a copy of this book from Harvest House Publishers and Netgalley and was not required to give a positive review.

As with the other books of the series, I loved it and it kept me reading late into the night.
Bishop Henry is again in the spotlight as his drawings of the crime scene appear on paper. Another murder mystery to cause deep concern and fears amongst the people in his Colorado Amish community...
This Amish mystery is not one you want to pass by. Very good read and gets your attention within the first page or two.
I enjoyed this book as well as the other books of this series and highly recommend it!
I received an ebook copy from Netgalley. All thoughts are my own.
JenGalaxy4 Christian Book Reviews5 Stars Out Of 5Who The Bishop Knows - Amish Bishop Mysteries #3 by Vannetta ChapmanJanuary 29, 2018JenGalaxy4 Christian Book ReviewsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Murder, suspense, faith and family blend flawlessly to create the dramatic conclusion to the Amish Bishop Mysteries series!
The maturity and wisdom of the characters give this book a special energy. Henry and Emma make a great team, both romantically and in their part-time sleuthing! Emma is as warm as they come and her devotion to her family and future husband is admirable. Henry has finally come to accept his unique gift and desires to try to help solve another crime, all while keeping up with his duties as Bishop. Must throw in an extra special nod to Lexi, Henry's loyal beagle - she certainly stole the show!
This story was charming, suspenseful and had many strong faith-filled moments. There was one surprising scene that fit well with the storyline and happened at just the right moment. Additionally, the identity of the killer - and motive for the crime - will definitely keep you guessing!
There are lots of special touches that gave this book a different vibe than the others in the series. One thing remains the same which is remembering to put all faith and trust in God and to use the gifts He gives to the best of your ability.
Who The Bishop Knows wraps up nicely and gives a fitting closure to the series. I'm sad to say goodbye to Henry, Emma and the community of Monte Vista, but eagerly looking forward to more mysteries from Vannetta Chapman!

Who The Bishop Knows is book there and the last in The Amish Bishop Mysteries Series. I want to say that I truly have enjoyed this series and hate to see it end. I believe it has been one of my favorites. The author has a way of bringing the story and the characters to life. I was grabbed at the start and did not want to put it down. We are carried back to the residents and small community of monte Vista, Colorado. Everyone is looking forward to the rodeo. There is a dead that was not expected. There is a mystery to solve and romance is in the air. Henry and Emma make a great team. Henry and his special talent, but is he able to help out this time?
I was given a complimentary copy by NetGalley and the publisher, but was not told that I had to give a positive review.
TanamaTXAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Fantastic Amish MysteryDecember 9, 2017TanamaTXAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0Who the Bishop Knows by Vannetta Chapman is book 3 of The Amish Bishop series. I have to say, I kind of hate to see the end of this series. I have really enjoyed getting to know the people of Monte Vista, Colorado. I think this one may be my favorite of the three, but each one was great.
The quiet community of Monte Vista, Colorado has seen it's fair share of excitement over the past couple years, but things have begun to settle down. People are getting back to their normal lives, whether it be Amish or English. Then the rodeo comes to town and now there's a murder mystery involving an Amish rodeo contestant to solve. Bishop Henry and Emma have decided to let the authorities figure this mystery out themselves. But when the community is thrust in the middle of the investigation, what can they do but try to find the killer themselves?
This story had all the mystery and suspense of the first two, but for me, when you add in the elements of the rodeo, it really grabbed my attention. I recommend everyone read this series. Who the Bishop Knows wraps up a few of the budding romances we've seen throughout the series, so you wouldn't want to miss out on the back story of these fantastic characters.
I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley. This my honest opinion of Who the Bishop Knows.
