I have known about Ellie Holcomb and her husband Drew for quite a while now. When I heard that she was releasing a children's book, I knew that it was one that I would have to add to the library here at home for my children to enjoy. Who Sang The First Song is a wonderful book to have and experience.

The story is an endearing one that will capture the minds of children. The artwork will enamor even the adults in the crowd. It is a book that you will read over and over and over again. Each time you will find it grow a little deeper into your heart.

I received this book for free in exchange for an unbiased review.

This is a very nice book that coordinates with the song on the cd. The pictures are cute and appropriate for a young child. This book illustrates our favorite cd song. Wonderful in a day and time when it can be hard to find nice books, pictures and songs for children.

This children's book is a fantastic presentation of biblical truth without overloading the reader/parent with Scripture. Though at first I thought that the absence of Scripture was a mistake, now I see the work as a non threatening introductory revelation of creation truth. My hope would be that the reader/parent would further seek the Creator through the reading of Scripture. I wish the author would have included, at least in a postlude fashion, some Scriptural references to assist the reader/parent in that quest would be helpful. The illustrations by Kayla Harren are excellent and attention grabbing for adults as well as children.

This book would be a great addition to any family's collection. I highly recommend this book.

How lovely is this book? The words practically sing off the page!

"That every heart and every thing . . . Was born with a song that it was made to sing".

Who Sang the First Song by Ellie Holcomb is quiet a cute book. We really enjoyed reading it and seeing all the colorful pictures through out the book. All the different suggestions leading up to the answer are really cute. Bradley was able to tell me before we read it "Who Sang the First Song".

This cute children's story inspired me to journal it in my Bible. I used the colors from the book to remind me of the book whenever I see the picture in my Bible. Its definitely a cute book for children.
