Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I find that my roles change as I set my will to God's will. Three constant roles for me are Christian, wife, mother of 3. I am also currently an accountant, graduate student, mentor, inpirational speaker, and publications ministry leader.

What was your motivation behind this project?  After writing "I'm Not Your Friend, Mommy," I spoke with my pastor who said my next book should be "Mom, Where's My Father" because of the number of absent fathers today.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I want people (children and adults) to know that they are complete in Christ! God would never leave us without what we need in order to be successful.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  Since I grew up in a home with both of my parents, this project required me to open my eyes and see things from the perspective of some of my friends and family members. After the project, I realized that my dad grew up without his father and that made me understand him a little more.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I am influenced by Jesus Christ, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Sheryl Brady, Bishop Rosie O'neal, Rev. Sanders, Mya Angelou, Max Lucado, Joyce Myers, Teri Savelle-Foy, and more.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I look forward to connecting with you on Facebook or Twitter (@authortoshiba). Always know that you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13)!
