I must confess that I begin this review with a bias: I have been a groupie of Rose Publishing since about 2010. This is my first official review because I received an e-version of the pamphlet in exchange for a review. However, I have been extoling the benefits of Rose Publications for years!

Where to Find Favorite Bible Verses is a comprehensive directory for Bible verses on topics such as: God, Holy Spirit, Jesus, Trinity, and Names of God. Of course, that is only the beginning. If you want verses about how to share Jesus, or references for specific comfort and encouragement issues, then this is your go-to resource!

When I first began reading this fold-out pamphlet, I was pleasantly surprised to find many more topics than expected from such a compact piece of literature. Besides the above lists, you will also find key people and events from the Old Testament, the early church, plus the life, teachings, and parables of Jesus. There are 44 additional alphabetized topics with a few references each from Angels and Armor of God, to Parenting, Work, and World.

The pamphlet tops it all off with a list of verses delineating who believers are in Christ (i.e., New Creations 2 Corinthians 5:17) and the blessings that come from following Jesus as Savior and Lord (i.e., Entrusted with te Secrets of God I Corinthians 4:1).

If you are a biblical counselor or a new believer, having multiple resources at your fingertips, in a compact colorful design, could prove quite helpful. Of course, it would also make a great gift for anyone who wants to study the Scriptures more, or a jumping off point for a Bible study if you, like me, do not care to use a script written by someone else, but enjoy designing your own lessons for Bible study with small groups.

I tend to think outside the box, or in this case, outside the pamphlet. Since I learn well with flash cards, I can see using these topics and references as flash cards to devote more time to memorization, which is just one more use for this handy tool.
