Drawing on his insightful sermon series, renowned pastor/teacher David Jeremiah shares the comfort and hope of the Psalms and how these truths can guide believers through life's greatest challenges. He includes inspiring real-life stories of people who have struggled with terminal illness, the loss of a child, or the imprisonment of a spouse. Jeremiah interweaves his own journal entries, revealing his battle with cancer and how the Psalms helped to sustain him during the fight of his life. When Your World Falls Apart is an invaluable source of help and encouragement for people facing major obstacles in life.
David Jeremiah is the founder of Turning Point, an international ministry committed to providing Christians with sound Bible teaching through radio and television, the Internet, live events, and resource materials and books. He is the author of more than fifty books including Captured by Grace, AngelsWho They Are and How They Help, What in the World Is Going On?, and Agents of the Apocalypse.
David serves as the senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in San Diego, California, where he resides with his wife, Donna. They have four grown children and twelve grandchildren.

Judy Sharpe5 Stars Out Of 5July 27, 2009Judy SharpeI did not realize this was the same as the book "A Bend in the Road" - which I already have. SO I was disappointed. But I am sure the Lord had a reason for my ordering it - perhaps I will run across someone who needs to read it. It IS a great book! It was a real help to me after my Dad passed away and I have shared it with others, too.
Robert Vollaro5 Stars Out Of 5February 3, 2009Robert VollaroExcellent ministry tool for those who are going through what David Jeremiah calls "disruptive moments" in life. Originally entitled "A Bend in the Road", David shares the story of his diagnosis and struggle with cancer and eventual victory over it. I have shared this book with our assistant pastor, who recently was diagnosed with cancer.
Joyce Bowen5 Stars Out Of 5January 21, 2009Joyce BowenI give this book to anyone who is diagnosed with cancer and going through treatment. It, along with the Bible got me through a 2 year cancer battle. It gave me such strength because of the abundance of scripture in it.
