In the bestselling What Little Boys Are Made Of (more than 280,000 copies sold) Jim Daly's Americana artwork rejoiced in little boys so rugged and sweet. Now Daly's poignant paintings and a gathering of tender quotes help parents celebrate their boy's wondrous life adventures.
This memory book provides engaging questions and lots of room for a parent to record stories of their own son's journey. The mountains he climbs, the forts he builds, the prayers he whispers at bedtime—these are the moments mothers dream of and grandmothers cherish.
More personal than a photo album, this treasury of the unfolding dreams, memories, and milestones of a very special little boy's childhood will be cherished forever
A native of Oklahoma, Jim Daly studied art at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. His paintings are represented in permanent collections of museums and historical societies and in many private and corporate collections. Daly has also received numerous awards for his artwork, including the People’s Choice Award at the Western Rendezvous of Art. His work is featured in the books What Little Boys Are Made Of; Grandma, Do You Remember When?; My Loyal Friend; and Let’s Play Ball.
Linda Winters5 Stars Out Of 5A Darling Book!March 18, 2016Linda WintersQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Ordered this for my "new mommy" granddaughter, not as a standard baby book, but more like a parent keepsake. The illustrations are absolutely darling, delightful! It's a nice small size to tuck into a treasure box when little boy's information is recorded, to review and savor from time to time in years ahead, sure to warm the heart and bring a smile. Wish something like this had been available in the early 1960's when I had my sons...

While this is NOT the usual record book of 1st outing, innoculations, birthdays, school days etc. it IS a thought provoking record of growth through the many stages of a young boys life, experiences, freinds, family with scripture to guide a parent or guardian that can be presented to the child when he is grown ...graduation, wedding or birth of his own child...........very meaningful and the illustrations are nostalgic yet timely.
