I enjoy reading all the confessions; however, the commentaries on them are insightful. I probably have studied the Heidelberg a bit more and we are gifted to have one of the original authors (Ursinius) publish his book on his thoughts during the writing. The Westminster is the most complete as far as depth of study, but all the confessions are what makes my Presbyterian faith more understandable. And lends wisdom to the events around the reformation. This is another good book.

I think this book is an excellent resource for the study of our faith and beliefs of the early churches and you can also see where a lot of modern day churches have veered away from teaching on Reformed Christianity. It is easy to read and to comprehend.
