Loraine3 Stars Out Of 5Took me some time to get into.October 2, 2019LoraineThis review was written for Welcome to Last Chance, A Place to Call Home Series #1.This story took me some time to get into because I really wanted to like Lainie and she made it difficult. But I enjoyed the people of the town of Last Chance. There was a great mix of personalities that showed even Christians are human. Full review is at my website.

It's about family and friends in a small town. The way they reach out to "complete strangers" is how the town I grew up in was.

Heidi MainCary, NCAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Sweet readJanuary 14, 2015Heidi MainCary, NCAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Welcome to Last Chance, A Place to Call Home Series #1.Lanie is very likable with a sketchy past that chases her throughout the story. All the characters in the book are very hard workers, perhaps illustrating small-town life. All the people and elements of this story intertwined, but didn't feel forced at all. I especially liked Ray, the male character. His background was deep and his dream was huge. The location of his cabin was vivid, I wished I could have spent more time there!
