If you want to learn what words really meant from a Christian perspective during the early years of our country, this is the only book to have. The complete opposite of trendy. It's worth every penny, especially at the special price on CBD now.

This dictionary is a must have for every home. My daughter uses it for her homework and I use it for my bible studies.

When I received it I was quite surprised. I did not expect for it to be such a handsome book. The contents are awesome and a big help to me in understanding some of the words used in the Book of Mormon.

Our home school uses the classics a lot and there are many vocabulary words just not found in the newer dictionaries. Most words in our books written in the early 1800's are found in this dictionary. I like, also, knowing where the word came from, be it Latin, Celtic, French, Arabic, etc. I highly recommend this dictionary to Classical Home schoolers.
