I am not sure it will be well-received as the white pastor believes the Great Spirit is the same God of the Bible, and even though his wife is a former practitioner of the occult. They have incorporated the drum and dance into their Sunday worship. I have attended powwows as a Christian, and have a college degree in Native Studies. Reading this book helped me to convince my boyfriend to remove a dreamcatcher from his home. It had been given to him by a Native female coworker who also attempted to seduce him into immorality even though she was married. I haven't finished reading, but the material is completely engrossing. It is also the most credible I have read on this subject, since the author herself is Native and has first-hand experience in this field.
