Your greatest enemy is actually in your mouth.
The tongue has more power to quickly destroy your life than anyone or anything else. Whether it's a harsh word spoken to your spouse, a verbal explosion to a boss, or even a social media rant, our words can be instruments of death. But, as an image bearer of Christ, your highest calling is to model with your mouth the character of God.
From bestselling author Dr. Tony Evans comes a compelling resource to help you learn to tame your tongue. With life-changing insights into the power of the tongue, you'll learn what the Bible teaches about your words, uncover how you can bring blessing or cursing upon yourself or others, and develop the self-control needed to keep your tongue in check.
Learn how to use your words to minister to and speak life into the world around you.

Robby5 Stars Out Of 5A great book!August 1, 2017RobbyQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This book is really good! It has really made me think twice about the way that I speak to other people. His book also talks about praising God and praying and how it can bring blessing to your life. I like that it references many examples in the bible about these subjects.

Watch Your Mouth provides knowledge and awareness concerning a particular body part, the tongue. It tells of the power we give to it and the many ways that power can be used. As well as bringing awareness to the good the tongue can do, it also brings awareness to the bad. The tongue can be used for both good and bad within the same hour; it brings forth life or it brings forth death.
Tony uses Scripture to back up and support his message on the tongue. In the appendix, Tony supplies information on where in the Bible different topics on the tongue can be found; a reference guide.
Some things about the tongue I was already aware of and then there were other things that were brought into the light by Watch Your Mouth. I recommend Watch Your Mouth to all. We need to be aware and sensitive to to what the tongue can do and how it can be used, even unintentionally.
