There are often times when I find myself uncertain how to pray and this is a book that I will certainly use over and over because Warfare Prayers for Women is a wonderful way to improve my prayer life and increase my faith. It has an added bonus of being small enough to carry in my purse and its beautiful appearance makes it perfect for gift-giving also!

The authors have given their readers a collection of prayers that cover every aspect of life. I found one section, Praying for My Community and Nation, very timely, given the state of our nation as we try to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, also the upheaval caused by a few who are disrupting the peaceful protests of those concerned about the injustice we have here in America.

Each prayer has two scripture verses or passages that shed more light on that prayer. At the end of the book, they include The Sinners Prayer and the Lords Prayer. The authors also include a list of worship starters, a neat compilation of terms that apply to Jesus Christ to help a reader to prepare to worship Him. Also, they give us scriptures of intercession and warfare to use when we face the enemy.

I would recommend this volume to any Christian woman who finds herself wanting to pray more earnestly to God.

Sections include: Praying with Power, Praying against Hinderances, Praying for Life's Milestones, Praying for Children and Grandchildren, Praying for Family and Friends, Praying when Single, Praying through Tough Times, Praying in My Senior Years, Praying for My Community and Nation, Important Prayer Helps and Scriptures for Intercession and Warfare.

Each section contains multiple specific prayers which include the prayer and two scriptures. This book is a great reference or great gift.

This book starts off with a quote from a well-known spiritual leader in our household (He's one of my father's favorites so quite a few books have been read on him)

I LOVE that!! Reading that quote I immediately knew that this was going to be an amazing book. And it, without a doubt, was! I could be wrong on this but I think many of women struggle with what to pray at different times in our life. I mean, of course we pray for our friends, family, church etc. But at other times we're lost as to what to pray. I admittedly have been having a little bit of a prayer "slump" recently and Warfare Prayers For Women is exactly what I needed.
