Walking in the Word is a practical, yearlong devotional to use many times over or share with family members or friends. You may not always agree, but you’ll always be stimulated to think about what God’s Word has to say to that part of your life being addressed.

Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a person who loves life and his Lord and enjoyed being a pastor for 40+ years. I grew up in a Christian home, attended public schools and university, and am glad that I did.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to share the work I had done for our denominatioal radio/TV ministry, having been affirmed that my writing skills were helpful to folks...
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I'm hopeful that folks will be encouraged in their walk with their God by reading reflections on His Word, causing them to think as a personal reader or in a group or family setting.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I enjoyed the discipline of writing the thoughts and reflections within the space required....and grateful for the response I've received over the years to my writing, touching lives with explanations of God's Word.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? God's Word, Shirley, my wife, and friends who are committed to walking with Jesus and led by the teachings of the Word.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: That I'm hoping to write more, assemble some previously appreciated columns and thankful that people appreciate my hard work. It took discipline, not always appreciated.
