Tell us a little about yourself. I'm the part author as Pat was my beloved wife of 48 yrs. Pat journaled all her life from her first diary to her thousands of letters she wrote to relatives and friends plus her own personal walk of faith for 68 years.
What was your motivation behind this project? Pat wrote it herself on pg. 7-8, the Preface.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? To recognize that God will ALWAYS be there for us in our trials of life. That one can Over Come Ovarian Cancer. ( see the 3 reviews I hope to attach to this brief survey
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? See pg. 7-8 again, Preface
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Pat was influenced by so many writers, CS Lewis, etc, Authors, Joyce M, Karen K. etc- reading all the time her many books from CBD and friends. Plus her love for music singing and playing on guitar her favorite pieces, However mostly the WORD and her passion to memorize scripture- like a walking concordance.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: In an age when so many have been touched by the word cancer, Walk with Me shares personal insights into how faith and medicine can exist side by side. A God-given vision that Pats Heavenly Father would hold her hand without letting go inspired this collection of writings. The books journalistic style gives glimpses into Pats walk through the storms of a cancer diagnosis, major surgery, and subsequent treatments. This account journals the emotional and spiritual struggles leading to an even stronger, unwavering faith in Gods goodness despite the circumstances. Spiritual lessons are woven throughout this honest and sometimes vulnerable record of one womans journey of faith. Pats journal of her walk is an inspiring and unique glimpse of how our faith provides perspective of the ultimate reality. Through her journey, we read first hand of her experience of Gods unwavering presence through pain and struggle. This book is a gift.
