Julia Duncan arrives at Tyler University with high hopes of a good education, but more importantly, meeting that special someone. Like many girls do, she imagines a handsome prince who will sweep her off her feet as they ride into the sunset and live happily ever after. Sounds simple, right?
Eventually, Julia does find a boyfriend who seems to be Mr. Right, but time reveals that he is just the opposite, and her romantic dream quickly becomes a terrifying nightmare. What started as a little lie grows to the point of crisis, and with each passing moment, she moves further and further away from the life that she so desperately desires. Will she survive her first year of college?
As Julia's story begins, you will meet her new friends on campus and see how they deal with issues like unwanted pregnancies, abusive boyfriends, and the power of being a true friend. You will see how one small nugget of truth saves Julia's life and puts her back on track to experience God's very best for her life.

I could relate to some of the tough choices and poor decisions Julia experiences in her first year of college. Well-written, engaging story with a great message!

I read it as well as liked the "Finding You" in the story and "Epilogue" features at the end that made it more personal. It highlighted how much she means to God.

Young women who are single, whether single moms, college aged, teenagers, etc. would benefit from the struggles that take place in these books. They would be nice gifts for teenage grandchildren, children, or kids in your youth group - do as a group study in a girls group!
C LoveAuburn Hills, MIAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5I honestly could not put the book down!September 21, 2012C LoveAuburn Hills, MIAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Waiting for Mr. Right was a fantastic read! The storyline held me from start to finish - I honestly could not put the book down! As a parent of a teenage daughter, I was relieved to have this book and the sequels, Meeting Mr. Right and Marrying Mr. Right, to reinforce our convictions in the area of relationships, boundaries, and the need to stay close to The Lord and His protective covering in order to secure His best plans for life. My daughter loved the books as well, and the discussions shared with her have been priceless.
