There are so many great things about this wonderful novel, but I absolutely adore Lily. Never has a mute had so much to say! I love the way her body language and hand motions convey exactly what she's thinking, and the way her hero learns to read her. I expect we'll be seeing a lot more from Jericha Kingston in the future.
