I cannot understand the reviewer who thinks it is feminist and makes the men look stupid. I found the characters to be well portrayed. There is redemption in this movie for several people and it is a good testimony of how the Lord works things out in a person's life, through extremely troublesome times, when they look to Him. God's goodness is definitely evident.

FredAge: 25-34Gender: Male1 Stars Out Of 5Really did not likeJune 19, 2018FredAge: 25-34Gender: MaleQuality: 2Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1First, the acting. It was pretty good. About half the actors did a good job. The other half were clearly not professionals.
Second, it isn't for kids. There are adult thematic elements and scenes of gore.
As for the story, this movie messed up. It left about 3 men who were still decent and good (albeit one was a scrooge). Of course all the female characters, who perhaps didn't start out as moral or kind, end up correcting their faults. Not so the men. They (except around three which I previously mentioned), were either mean or downright evil. And I don't want to leave out the overweight, gluttonous, idiot cameraman. The poor actor who portrayed him is a man made in the image of God. My point is that this movie has strong feminist overtones that are reflective of our culture at large. Our culture (and this movie) is playing the same blame game that happened in the garden of Eden. To say all the problems are because of men is not only unfair, it is untrue. Both men and women sin. We all need the Savior and forgiveness. And although men often display their hurt and brokenness in other ways than tears, they need healing, forgiveness and God's love every bit as much as women.
