There are excellent examples in this book of perseverance, self control and survival, conditions of life our time period or the USA hasn't experienced broadly, and relating to God in a prayerful and attentive way. My husband and I share reading this series to our boys at bedtime. These are always their first preference when reporting on a book for school. Accurate and smooth grammar. Great story. Excellent reading material for kids and adults (adults that don't need an intense literary challenge, but a vacation).
Jana Madera5 Stars Out Of 5Viking Quest seriesNovember 1, 2014Jana MaderaThis series is a joy to read. It is refreshing to read a series where the characters openly lean on God always and share the Gospel with others. Each book left me excited to get the next. I cannot wait for my boys to read it.
Danielle5 Stars Out Of 5June 1, 2009DanielleTHIS IS AN AMAZING BOOK there was a PART I didn't understand at first, but then understanding that GOD called Bree to be "a light to the nations," she couldn't be a light without the darkness.
