sangtexasAge: 35-44Gender: Female3 Stars Out Of 5Pretty book but the stories drag way more than they shouldDecember 31, 2016sangtexasAge: 35-44Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 3Meets Expectations: 3I bought this for my 10 and 7 year old. We read the Bible every night, so most of these stories were not new to them. We liked how every story (Adam and Eve, Abraham, David...) all point to Jesus. The pictures were also very beautiful. First was a page with excerpts from the Bible, followed by a 2-3 pages expanding on the story. The style was similar to "The Jesus Storybook Bible" by Sally Lloyd-Jones except longer and way more mushy than it needed to be.

southern homemaker3 Stars Out Of 5Beautiful but disappointedDecember 9, 2015southern homemakerQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3This is a beautifully illustrated book! But it does not follow traditional Jesse Tree format so it has to have specific ornaments to go along with it. Personally my biggest concern is that the stories feel too embellished. As a previous reviewer stated the writing style just isn't for us. Sadly this was not what I was hoping for.
