Stephen Baldwin tells it how he sees it, in straight language, sometimes with light swear words. (there is not hard heavy swearing just FYI.) I actually found this refreshing, because in order to tell his story he need to be himself and at that point in time that was who he was. Throughout the book it is clear that he loves the Lord with all his heart and the Lord has given him a ministry for the youth of this country creating skate parks and talking to them about Jesus.
I loved this book, and biographies are not books I really like to read.
I had already heard Stephen's testimony on TV and just happened to stumble across his book in the library. I only picked it up to glance in the middle of it & I was hooked! How profound. It encourages my faith to see what God can do with a person willing to give it ALL to HIM. Stephen's wisdom is so great in the short time he's been a Christian that it can only have come from GOD. His book is awesome - I love his style of writing (like he's speaking just to you - with his quirky child like mannerisms). I read a little each evening and it always put a smile on my face and wanting more of God. "I'll have what he's having, Lord!" I am buying a bunch of copies of this book for family members 'cuz I don't want to give up my copy! Go Stevie-B!
