HoneydewCanadaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Best Book of the Year!January 5, 2011HoneydewCanadaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Wow! I have just finished reading it. It took me awhile as I am a slow reader and I was only limiting myself to reading a little each day to allow time for the information to be absorbed. I really have to say that this is a much needed apologetic book for anyone who is a beginner or intermediate level. As stated in the book it says "Some people think that philosophy is reserved for the highly educated, but this idea is not true. Even those who have a very limited education are capable of following an arguement....uneducated people are not irrational people. I have found that they will endure, and can follow quite a lot of sustained argument if you go slowly". This book is set out in logical sequence and comes with plenty of interesting visuals to supplement the reading. I have learnt so much and it is suprising to discover that as an average Christian, how very little I did know apart from what one hears in church services. This book is highly recommended to further your knowledge and to gain a strong Christian worldview that will enable you to stand your ground in today's world. I am so happy that I read it and in comparison to other books that I've read in 2010, this book was the Book of the Year!

Here are your answers!A very easy read, yet well detailed to offer you the needed, valid and consistently logical arguments to demonstrate that our God is not one of confusion or lack of logic. The Christian world view is the most consistent with reason and truth, and this book will very effectively cover all areas questioned by opponents of Christianity: morality, ethics, truth, reality, evil...
shaun price5 Stars Out Of 5December 5, 2006shaun priceI read this book for a Seminary philosophy class, but it is written in such a fashion that it is also accessible to a high schooler who is interested in learning how to defend his or her faith. This book is a good intro to Christian philosophy and apolegetics.
Brian5 Stars Out Of 5April 18, 2001BrianThis book is a must have for anyone looking for answers to Christian objections. This book is fantastic! The first chapter covers Logic, which is necessary for understanding the rest of the book. The second chapter covers truth, and objections to absolute truth (i.e. Agnosticism, etc...), it also covers Law, Justice, [macro]evolution, and etc. This book is great to have in a discussion with your friends, and as a tool to equip anyone in a personal/classroom setting.
