Product Description

Psychiatrist Miriam Grossman has sounded a wake-up call to her profession and to every parent of a college-aged child attending a secular university. She feels that the students with whom she works in college counseling centers have become "casualties of the radical activism in my profession." She writes out of her frustration at seeing appropriate tools removed from her arsenal to combat forces bent on destroying the mental and emotional health of her students, while their futures are stolen from them without their knowledge or understanding. Grossman says, "My profession has been hijacked. I cannot do my job, my patients are suffering, and I am fed up." Read her first-hand accounts of how a particular agenda has overtaken common sense in the counseling of university students and even redefined the meaning of emotional and mental wellness in the college setting.

Publisher's Description

Our campuses are steeped in political correctness?that?s hardly news to anyone. But no one realizes that radical social agendas have also taken over campus health and counseling centers, with dire consequences.

Psychiatrist Miriam Grossman knows this better than anyone. She has treated more than 2,000 students at one of America?s most prestigious universities, and she?s seen how the anything- goes, women-are-just-like-men, ?safer-sex? agenda is actually making our sons and daughters sick.

Dr. Grossman takes issue with the experts who suggest that students problems can be solved with free condoms and Zoloft. What campus counselors and health providers must do, she argues, is tell uncomfortable, politically incorrect truths, especially to young patients in their most vulnerable and confused moments. Instead of platitudes and misinformation, it?s time to offer them real protection.

Miriam Grossman is a medical doctor trained in pediatrics and in the areas of child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She is also the author of You’re Teaching My Child What?: A Physician Exposes the Lies of Sex Ed, and How They Harm Your Child and Unprotected: A Campus Psychiatrist Reveals How Political Correctness in Her Profession Endangers Every Student.

This book deals with the biological effects of frequent sexual activity on young women. It seems that biology corresponds to what the Bible teaches on this subject. The message of this book contradicts what is commonly being taught on college campuses today. I bought a few copies to pass along to college students.

A wonderful and sobering read! Perfect for parents, teachers and youth workers who desire to get a pulse on current youth and young adult culture. A true tour of life beyond the Church walls. A must read for all youth pastors.

This really is an important book to share with friends, neighbors, colleagues, and especially grown children who are heading off into the world of higher education as they will certainly experience the perspectives and issues addressed in this book. I thought it was so important that I purchased 8 paperback copies and passed them out to colleagues at the public school where I teach. One described it to me as "a real page-turner." She passed the book on to yet another teacher on her team. Get it and read it and pass it on.
