    Excellent & Challenging book

Our church administrator recommended this book to me about a year ago. I enjoyed and was challenged by it so much, we based a sermon series on it that coincided with a book study. I bought it again this year (3 copies this time, I've given 5-10 copies out already) to read again. I imagine Hansen writes the way he speaks, making this an easy book to read. The idea of facing our right-to-be-angry and false self-righteous anger is challenging and humbling. I think it can also be a step to challenge our cultural faith against what Jesus taught and lived and what Paul wrote in his letters. I highly recommend this book - and have already given the other two that I ordered away. For what it's worth, this is my first book review ever. I don't typically do this kind of thing.

Hansen's insight into anger is amazing. He really gives his readers something to think about--how can we ever be offended after considering the wonderful love, mercy, and grace showered upon us by an awesome God who calls us His children? I recommend this book to those who have an anger problem and to those who do not. There is something in this book for everyone.

The author makes the connection between anger and being offended, and explores WHY we get so offended by people. He obviously spent a lot of time thinking through scripture and his heart on this matter. God has used this book to help me chill out and not be so uptight, thinking so highly of myself...and at the same time, rest in God's Sovereignty. I highly recommend it...I've got three people reading it right now.

I heard about this author while listening to a Christian radio station. I thought it would be an interesting read and a break from the offended on facebook. I could relate on so many levels to what was written and the way it was written. Brant tackled a heavy subject in such a unique way. Idig how he thinks.
