Seven years in Christian institutions of higher learning never encouraged this excellent presentation on the basis for our Bible. Dean John Burgon lays out excellent scholarship showing the history and care of Greek manuscripts Christ's Church has relied on through the centuries. He exposes the shoddy work of those who would cast aside 80 -90% of the manuscripts to exalt a favored few with no significant history and innumerable contradictions and omissions. Read with several versions of Scripture at hand, especially if you are not familiar with the Greek of the New Covenant writings.
