Dr. Annetta Cavanaugh has her own questions about men and their intentions. While Pastor Jake McCabe seems sincere, she still has her doubts about him. But after he accompanies her on a medical call, she sees a whole new side of him and can't help but admit her attraction to the handsome pastor.
However, there's evil brewing in town-a lawlessness that even the sheriff cannot tamp down. Finally, it comes face-to-face with both Luke and Jake and it threatens the lives of the women they love.

Series: Seasons of Redemption
When Pastor Luke McCabe begins paying extra attention to her, Bethany takes his fine-sounding words with a grain of salt. She's heard sweet talk before. This time she is going to keep her mind on the Lord and on her new teaching job in the Arizona Territory. But when her reputation is accidentally soiled by the rakish town sheriff, Luke steps in with a marriage proposal to save Bethany's good name. Luke is certain their marriage is God's will...but Bethany is just as certain God must have someone else in mind to be Luke's wife. Someone sweet and spiritual, who knows the Scriptures better than Bethany does. Someone like Luke's old friend from home.

Zoey5 Stars Out Of 5Faith in actionDecember 29, 2014ZoeyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Undaunted Faith presents a very engaging story, with well developed characters who grow in their faith or choose to turn from the Lord. This book, like the others in the series, is very well written with drama, action, surprises, and a setting that enhances the story line. Highly recommended, especially to anyone intrigued with life in the Old West.
Teri5 Stars Out Of 5Great readOctober 5, 2014TeriQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Couldn't put it down! The entire series was excellent and this wrapped it all up nicely. I was amazed at how much the author referred to God without it seeming unnatural for the conversations & characters. Do yourself a favor and get all four books and read them in order. I'm so glad I did.

This has been such a great series to read, not to mention a great introduction to an author.
Here we follow up with the McCabe brothers, Luke and Jake. And then there is Bethany Stafford, now a schoolteacher in the new town they've traveled to. She doesn't like it much but it was better than the option she had before. But there's trouble brewing in town, and they're trying to work with some others to figure out the source. And in the midst of this swirling madness Luke proposes to Bethany. It's so sudden and she's afraid that he just wants to save her reputation.
Another development in the town is that there's a female doctor, which makes quite a few people less than happy. She's wrapped up in her work and doesn't want to have anything to do with men right now. But she does find a friend in Jake McCabe, though she isn't entirely sure what to think about him.
The town is in disarray with a brothel and other men trying to take control. The threat is extremely high. What will happen? And will people get hurt? Or worse yet, wind up dead? You'll just have to read to find out!
These books are so amazing with such rich stories. And the covers advertise the books really well and are pretty beautiful. Some of the characters in this particular novel are real snakes, like the sheriff who just got under my skin. But overall it was a very pleasant read, and I just wish there were more to it! It's definitely something you should pick up, especially if you like historical romance. Please check this series out at your local bookstore or online.
Janna RyanNorth Platte, NEAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Great ending to a great seriesMay 19, 2011Janna RyanNorth Platte, NEAge: 35-44Gender: femaleThis is book 4 in a series and every one of them is wonderful. Andrea has created an amazing family through this series and it was so fun to visit them again and see where Luke and Jake McCabe are now (along with a couple of lovely ladies - Bethany and Annetta). There are some wonderful storylines involving redemption and forgiveness, and the fact that God's grace will truly cover anything. But they are wrapped up in this great story with enough action and romance to keep you engaged from page 1 until the very end. Great book!
