We absolutely love anything Notgrass. Uncle Sam and You is not exception. We use this workbook and we have also used the workbook for older students. Both are amazing and we will never use anything else for History.

My 7th grader used this workbook to accompany an elections unit study, in which we used Uncle Sam & You as our spine text to pull most of our information from. The workbook includes crosswords, word searches and other fun activities to review lessons read and studied. It keeps kids engaged while thouroughly reviewing concepts in the text. The text is black and white throughout. The front and back covers were hearty enough to survive my son's desk :)

Very useful activities, to go along with the lessons, and it contains short tests in the back, so I can test whether or not they were listening or remembered the information read. This is our second time thru this curriculum, and my younger daughter is enjoying it.
